KITAGWENDA RDC THREATEN TO ARREST PARENTS KEEPING SCHOOL GOING CHILDREN AT HOME

Efrance Kenyonyozi Atwongyere the assistant RDC Kitagwenda, has called on Kitagwenda residents to actively participate in the ongoing update of the National Voters’ Register.
The exercise, has has been extended for one week will end on 17th February 2025, is a key step in preparing for the 2026 General Elections.
Kenyonyozi highlighted the importance of this process, describing it as essential for strengthening democracy and ensuring every eligible citizen’s voice is heard in leadership decisions.
She reminded citizens that the exercise is open to anyone who has turned 18, those who have changed their residence, or those switching polling stations. She also encouraged first-time voters, especially the youth, to register and actively contribute to shaping Uganda’s future.
