Ibanda Residents Protest Poor State of Road

Residents of kaberebere, Kasambya and Kamututumi cells in Rwenshuri ward -Kagongo Division, Ibanda municipality have threatened to stage a peaceful demonstration over state of the road.
The residents who gathered in a meeting at Kaberebere trading center, said the road which is in a sorry has never been upgraded for long which has disrupted services in the area.
The road, a key connector between the villages, has become nearly impassable, crippling transportation, healthcare access, and local commerce.
The road’s condition has worsened over a decade especially during, heavy rains.
In response to their grievances, Moses Kakyikiri the Secretary for Finance Ibanda municipality who met them said the road is already in plans and will be fixed soon.
