Kitagwenda district lower local councils sworn in, leaders call for unity

KITAGWENDA

As Kitagwenda district local government concluded the swearing in for lower local councils (LC3) level, leaders called for unity among leaders and technical staff.

The deputy chief administrative officer for Kitagwenda district Moses Akankwasa who presided over the last session at Kitagwenda town council, urged councilors to join UPE schools to improve on English as he called for unity.

The same message of unity was echoed by the chairperson LC3 for Kitagwenda town council Patrick Turyamureeba Payi who said that unity is the key.

Speaking at the same function, Mikidadi Mosh, the LC3 chairperson for Ntara sub-county also called for unity among leaders.

Meanwhile; the Member of Parliament for Kitagwenda County Hon Robert Mugabe (Omutembuuzi) said that without unity among leaders, service delivery cannot be effective.
