OUBED MABWANA INSTALLED AS HEAD OF LAITY

Oubed Mwesigye Mabwana one of the directors Citizen secondary school in Ibanda has been installed as the head of laity Bihanga archdeaconry in North West Ankole diocese.

He was installed during a function to commemorate one year anniversary since the archdeaconry started.

Preaching during the service Bishop Edward Arinaitwe Bamucwanira the emeritus bishop of East Rwenzori diocese advised Christians to always remember to give back to God in form of thanksgiving.

Bishop Edward Bamucwanira also asked church leaders to always serve God whole.

In his speech after installation as the head of laity Oubed Mwesigye Mabwana said it has always been his zeal to work for God since his secondary school time where he worked as a scripture union leader.

He also commended Christians for choosing him as the head of laity in the entire archdeaconry.

Guma Gumisiriza the former Ibanda north Member of Parliament called upon Christians to avoid discrimination based on religion if they need development.
