IBANDA DISTRICT SET TO CEREBRATE EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE IN THE NATIONAL ASSESSMENT

Ibanda district is set to celebrate for emerging the number one education in the last national service delivery assessment.
During the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 financial years Ibanda district has been outshining other districts countrywide in the education department.
Speaking during a council session yesterday at the district head quarters, the Ibanda district chairperson Happy Herbert Mayanja noted the achievement is worth cerebrating.
Mayanja added that despite, Kiruhura and Isingiro coming in the first and second positions with 95% while and 94%respectively, Ibanda was the third with 94% with a margin of 1 point.
He faulted the water department for submitting wrong statistics to the office of prime minister indicating the district water coverage is above 80% yet it is below 60%
