IBANDA DISTRICT NRM OFFICE WELCOME NEW ELECTIONS OFFICER

Ibanda district National Resistance movement office has today welcomed their new elections officer (NRM-DEO) Gloria Tushemerirwe on temporary terms following the suspension of Innocent Amwiine.

According to the Ibanda district NRM acting chairperson, Hon Obeth Asiimwe, pursuant to article 39(11) of the NRM constitution, Tushemerirwe has been offered a contract as district elections officer for Ibanda district with effect from May 1, 2025.

Tushemerirwe who has been the NRM registrar for Rwenkobwa town council will be handling and managing any delegated electoral matters or work in Ibanda on behalf of the party electoral commission.

Gloria Tushemerirwe will be deputized by Robert Mutatiina who has been in an acting position since suspending Innocent Amwiine
