Christians of Bubaare catholic parish walk bravely in downpour for the way of cross

Christians of Bubaare Catholic parish have braved the Friday afternoon downpour characterized by unseasonable thunder storms to take part in the way of the cross walk.

This is done to imitate Jesus who suffered and died on the cross they decided to walk in the rain observing the seven stations Jesus went through as he carried his cross to Calvary.

Led by Rev Fr. Eladus Thairo, the Bubaare Catholic parish, the celebrants thronged Bubaare Catholic parish Church for joint prayers.

In Kazo town council, hundreds of Christians from the Catholic and Anglican faith in Kazo Town Council gathered for the Way of the Cross, a solemn observance that commemorates Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection, reflecting on His ultimate sacrifice for man’s sins.

Rev. Dan Mwesigwa from Kyeshebashebe church of Uganda emphasized the significance of this day and encouraged Christians to appreciate its importance in their lives.

At Ibanda Catholic Parish, Rev. Father Evaris Ariyo, the parish curette asked Christians to forgive one another mirroring what Jesus Christ did during the same time.
