Aaron Mesigye wins the Ibanda University 8th Guild Presidential Race.
In a hotly contested election on Saturday May 13, 2023, Mesigye garnered 634 votes beating his counterpart, Colleb Twinamatsiko who managed 592 votes.
In his declaration, the Ibanda University the chairperson electoral commission, Fredrick Turinawe, said the election was free and fair.
Speaking after his declaration as president elect, Aaron Mesigye said he will uplift the University education standards to befit everyone.
