In a heartwarming gesture of gratitude to its loyal listeners, 89.7 Rwenzori FM Eiraka Radio today rolled out a festive package distribution dubbed “Ekiterekye kya Christmas.” The initiative, aimed at giving back to the community, featured a selection of goodies including soda, rice, buttons, and other essentials, handed out to excited beneficiaries.
“It’s a privilege to serve you,” said Joseph Bogere Kiyingi, station Manager of Rwenzori FM Eiraka Radio, addressing a crowd of listeners and supporters. “Your loyalty and cooperation have been the backbone of our journey. Ricky Atuhire Julius, the station’s Administrator, reflected on the radio’s mission: to educate, entertain, inform, and sensitize. He described the Christmas packages as a tangible expression of appreciation for the listeners who have stood by the station through the years.
