Fourteen candidates nominated for parliamentary seats in Ibanda District.

This was revealed by Aidah Barekye Nkeija the Ibanda district electoral commission registrar while speaking to our reporter during the conclusion of the two day nomination exercise.
On the woman MP four candidates including Hon. Jovrine Kaliisa Kyomukama(NRM),Caroline Arituha(independent) Patricia Kenyangye Ayamba(NUP) and Winfred Aganyira (independent).
In Ibanda north, hon. Xavier Kyooma Akampurira (independent) Rtd major David Guma Gumisiriza (NRM) and hon. Elias Tumubweine (independent) were nominated.
In Ibanda south the nominated candidates include; Godwin Mpairwe (independent) Paulas Karekyezi (independent) and Dr. John Paul Ninkusima (NRM). In Ibanda municipality, Peter Agaba (NRM) Innocent Mwiine Bakamuhara (independent), Sarapio Betungura (independent) and Rashid Muganda (independent) were nominated.
Aidah Nkeija Barekye warned candidates against campaigning before the electoral commission gives them a road map.
