JOURNALISTS URGED TO SENSITIZE ELECTORATES ABOUT ROLES OF POLITICAL LEADERS

Journalists have been urged to always sensitize electorates about roles of political leaders.

This call has been made by Mr Moses Mulindwa the senior programme associate in charge of policy, government and civic engagement under the Uganda National NGO forum.

Uganda National NGO forum UNNGOF is a national platform for NGOs in Uganda whose mission is to provide a sharing and reflection platform for NGOs to influence governance and development processes in Uganda and enhance their operating environment.

Mulindwa said this during a one day journalism training about human rights, democracy and elections held at Las Vegas hotel in Mbarara City.

This training was organised by Uganda National NGO forum in partnership with African institute for investigate journalism AIIJ.

Journalists from regions of Ankole , Kigezi and Tooro.
