Spiro acquires Coexlion to boost African electric mobility expansion

Spiro, Africa’s leading electric two wheeler company and the continent’s fastest growing battery -swapping network, has acquired Coexlion, a specialist motorcycle engineering and design firm.
The move according to officials, is aimed at strengthening it’s product development, engineering and localization capabilities as it expands across Africa.
The acquisition brings Coexlion’s expertise in motorcycle engineering and industrial design into Spiro’s growing technology platform.
Thomas Llewellyn , founder of Coexlion, said joining Spiro would allow the company to apply it’s engineering expertise at greater scale.
