This was revealed by the Acting Kitagwenda District Health Officer-Irene Kahimazi yesterday afternoon during a mobilization meeting with parish chiefs, sub county chiefs and facility in charges at the district headquarters.

Child Health Days in Uganda are biannual campaign-style events held in the months of April and October to supplement fixed-site routine primary healthcare service delivery with the provision of Vitamin A supplementation, deworming, immunization, and growth monitoring and promotion at the community level.

According to the DHV there are people who missed vaccination of HPV, especially the girls.

She asked the VHTs and local leaders to mobilize the public to embrace the campaign.
