MP, THREE UPDF OFFICERS ARRESTED OVER CHARGES OF AGGRAVATED ROBBERY, ABDUCTION

Kisoro
The territorial police in Kisoro have preferred two charges against Hon. John Kamara, his bodyguards and supporters who were arrested today the 25/11/2025.
According to the Kigezi region police spokesperson ASP Elly Maate, the charges against the arrested are, Aggravated robbery and abduction Kisoro CRB 771/2025 and Aggravated robbery CRB 770/2025.
Maate identified the victims involved as;
PC Charles Mandali Police officer attached to Nyarubuye Police Station, Samuel CPL Obworot OC Nyarubuye Police Station; Emmanuel Iragena who was first assaulted and abducted by Hon. Kamara and his bodyguards;
And Nicholas Nkaata who was assaulted by Hon. Kamala and his bodyguards.
He also identified the suspects as,
A1: Hon. Kamara John
A2: Tukamushaba Onesmas (UPDF) soldier and bodyguard to Hon. Kamara John;
A3: Ahaimbisa Decodmas (UPDF) solder and bodyguard to Hon. Kamara John;
A4: Yesho Julius (UPDF) soldier and bodyguard to Hon. Kamara John;
A5: Turumujuni Dickens (supporter of Hon. Kamara John);
A6: Sabbiti Herbert (supporter of Hon. Kamara John);
A7: Nzabalatuma Innocent (supporter of Hon. Kamara John;
A8: Nsenga Stephen (supporter of Hon. Kamara John)
A9: Dusangiza Innocent (supporter of Hon Kamara John);
A10: Tumukiza Gad (supporter of Hon. Kamara John);
A11: Tugume Joseph (supporter of Hon. Kamara John)
A12: Niyonsihama Edson (supporter of Hon. Kamara John)
A13: Nzeyisenga Nicholas (supporter of Hon. Kamara John) and
A14: Ndagimana Fred also supporter of Hon. Kamara John.
The victims were rescued and rushed to Kisoro hospital for medical attention.
The gun of PC Mandali Charles has been recovered and exhibited, plus the phone of the civilian victim which the suspects had robbed from him has also been recovered and also exhibited.
The DPC Kisoro immediately caused for a District Security Committee (DSC) meeting to discuss on the way forward about the arrested candidate and his supporters.
