KITAGWENDA PWD COUNCILOR ARRESTED OVER ALLEGED CHILD SACRIFICE,MURDER

The police in Kitagwenda district have detained Levi Amarakutunga alias Namagoya the Kitagwenda male councilor representing people with disabilities over allegations of murder and child sacrifice.
According to the Kitagwenda district police commander, SP Bashir Bakulumpagi Levi is suspected to have murdered a 4 year old child identified as Ainomugisha Twino a daughter to his relative Vincent Bagarukayo a resident of Kanyara cell, Kikondo ward, Kabujogera town council, Kitagwenda district for mutual sacrifice.
It is alleged that the child went missing last yesterday (Sunday) and his body was discovered today morning lying in a stream near his farm.
A police sniffer led police to his house where human blood in a bucket was discovered which increased public uproar.
His banana plantation and car were vandalized before police whisked him away.
Bakulumpagi said intensified investigations into the tragic killing the four-year-old girl, has been launched.
Police have urged the public to remain calm as investigations continue, promising to apprehend those responsible for the crime.
