Kitagwenda people eager to welcome president Museveni

There is excitement and eagerness among people in Kitagwenda district as the leaders prepare to welcome, President Yoweri Museveni on Sunday May 18, 2025.
According to a probable program seen by our reporter, President Museveni On Thursday, May 15, is set to visit the Toro sub-region, with key engagements in Kyenjojo District, including an inspection of the Presidential Skilling Hub in Kyenjojo Town.
The President will wrap up his tour with a grand rally on Sunday, May 18, at Kicwamba Primary School Playground in Kitagwenda District, where he is expected to address residents and reaffirm the government’s commitment to inclusive rural development.
Speaking to our reporter, Patrick Turyamureeba the LC3 chairperson Kitagwenda town council called upon people to turn up in big numbers to welcome the president.
He added that as leaders they will present challenges that need to be addressed by the president.
Turyamureba hailed the government for the improved services in the district such as roads, water, electricity, schools, and health units among others.
