King Oyo Tours Kitagwenda County, Mobilizes Youth for Development

The king of Toro kingdom his Majesty Dr. Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV has urged people in Kitagwenda County to embrace modern farming.

King Oyo made the remarks yesterday while addressing the kingdom subjects from Kitagwenda County at Ntara Christian play ground in Kitagwenda town council during his agricultural tour.

He implored them to consider growing coffee and cocoa using modern farming techniques, including irrigation, to ensure reliable and abundant harvest throughout the year.

He tasked the Prime Minister Calvin Rwomire Armstrong to deliver free coffee and Cocoa his subjects seedlings before the season ends.

 King Oyo commended the youths in the kingdom for engaging in farming and congratulated them for being part of Masaza cup tournament which helps them to identify talents.

 Speaking to political leaders, the King asked them to promote unity among his people.

 He also called upon subjects to be aware of HIV/AIDs since it’s one of the killer diseases.
