The Senior Presidential Advisor on Agriculture, Peace Rugambwa, who also serves as the Chairperson of the Boona Bagaigahare Nyekundire Group in the Ankole and Kigezi regions has advised journalists to form Savings and Credit Cooperative Organisations [SACCOs] if they are to benefit from the government programmes.
Rugambwa was addressing journalists yesterday during an engagement meeting with journalists, bloggers, tiktokers and influencers in Rwahi Ntungamo as she urged them to support president Museveni.
She promised to boost their Sacco with 200 million Uganda shillings.
“Am giving you 200 million Uganda shillings as seed capital, let us support president Museveni and get more” Rugambwa explained
Rugambwa informed journalists to start the Sacco with immediate effect in order to get this money.
“Start as soon as possible because I have the money with me, it’s not a promise” Rugambwa added
