IBANDA DISTRICT LAYS 36 BILLION 2025/2026 FINANCIAL YEAR BUDGET
Ibanda district has today laid the 2025/2026 budget estimates worth 36 billion shillings.
The budget estimates was laid today during a district council session that was presided over by the district speaker Hon Godwin Muhumuza alias Oulanya.
While laying the budget estimates before the council, hon. Elias Tumuboine on behalf of secretary for finance and administration said that the budget estimates will be implemented under the theme “Full monetization of Uganda’s economy through commercial agriculture, industrialization, expanding and broadening services, digital transformation and market access”.
In his speech the district speaker Hon Godwin Muhumuza alias Oulanya explained that the council was called purposely to lay the budget for financial year 2025/2026 which will be discussed and approved in the next council.
The chairperson LCV Happy Herbert Mayanja hailed the Ibanda district technical staff for good cooperation which has yielded good results in the national assessment reports.
