Alliance Vocational School-Ibanda defeats Kigarama fc in a football friendly match at Nyakateete.

Goals from Victor Akandwanaho (NCPL) and Jameson Nuwamanya (NCBC) were enough for the visitors to return home with a 2-1 victory in a game played at Nyakateete playground in Ibanda Municipality on Sunday.

As the school revives its sports department, the school administration has embarked on establishing a school football team to participate in several tournaments and friendlies in Ibanda and beyond.

According to the school principal, Kenneth Taremwa who recently supported the Guild Tournament 2025, where most talents were spotted, the school is willing to support the school team to showcase and also represent the school far beyond in the region.

Alliance Vocational School-Ibanda has been a feeder school for different clubs in Ibanda and other football clubs in Western Uganda, including Ibanda Municipal Sports Club, Kaaro Karungi fc, Step Up fc, and Rushango Dynamic fc among others.
