People neighboring swamps and wetlands have been urged to utilize such resourceful areas to venture in business especially fish farming.
This was revealed by George Okello, the Fisheries Officer Ibanda district during an interview with our reporter on how the public can make good use of wetlands and to conserve the environment.
According to Okello, fish farming is one of the lucrative businesses that can earn income to farmers if managed well.
He also said that the Ibanda district fisheries office extends free technical support to people who venture in such business, emphasizing the importance of seeking technical advice before venturing to fish farming business.
