Over 18 million shillings in cash and pledges was yesterday raised during a fundraising function at all Saint church Ishongororo parish in Ishongororo town council, Ibanda district.

Over 18 million shillings in cash and pledges was yesterday raised during a fundraising function at all Saint church Ishongororo parish in Ishongororo town council, Ibanda district.

 The fundraising was aimed at soliciting funds for constructing a new church.

Speaking during the function, Rev. Jackson Katungi the diocesan secretary who represented the bishop Northwest Ankole diocese Rt Rev. Amos Magezi urged the Christians to support God’s work by offering what they have.

The same message was re-echoed by Rev. Canon John Mpora who was the day’s preacher.
