Christians are reminded to support their children who are still in seminary schools such that they can continue with their journey of fearing and serving God.
This call was made by Father Bruno Ahebwa of St Kagwa parish in Bushenyi District while preaching the word of God to hundreds of Christians who had turned up for the thanks giving mass of the family of Mr Evarist Bainomugisha at Buteraniro catholic center in Ishongororo Town council on Friday 27th Dec 2024.
In his message the man of God openly tasked Christians to take their smtheir children to seminary and always be supportive to those with a dream of either becoming priests or nuns such that they cannot divert in other activities because becoming a priest is a blessing from God.
The mass’s main was to re-unite OB’S of Kitabi seminary in Bushenyi District under their umbrella K83 association.
Members of K83 of the class 1983 that were in presence included 16 priests, 3 brothers, a number of nuns, catechists, professors, doctors as well as business men headed by Vicar General of Mbarara Arch Diocese Rev Fr Dr Silivenious Nduggwa.
While speaking to the congregation, Hon Jane Beinomugisha the Ibanda District Woman Member of Parliament thanked Christians for supporting her husband and asked men not to harass their women since it is a one way of fighting against domestic violence in homes.
Meanwhile Evarist Bainomugisha the Director for finance and planning at Makerere University noted that it was a great day and thanked all members of K83 and well-wishers explaining that the association has helped them grow financially as well as coming close to God with the support of priests who always gives them words of encouragement.
