NRM LEADERS IN IBANDA TAKES MOBILIZATION TO VILLAGE LEVEL

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) leaders have continued to strengthen intensive grassroots mobilization drive in the district, targeting village leaders and local party structures to consolidate support for President Yoweri Museveni’s re-election bid.
NRM officials, led by Peter Kato, the Chairperson Veterans’ league yesterday launched the mobilization meetings with local leaders and party officials from Mirambi and Kalemba wards in Rwenkobwa to council to fine-tune strategies for the exercise.
During the meeting, Kato urged members to intensify the grass root mobilization to ensure president Museveni and NRM get overwhelming support in the forthcoming elections.
Gloria Tushemerirwe, the Ibanda district NRM Registrar advised voters in Rwenkobwa town council to support NRM due to the tremendous achievement done in the area.
Hon Jovrine Kaliisa Kyomukama, the NRM flag bearer Woman Member of Parliament who doubles as Ibanda district NRM Chairperson urged locals leaders to ensure cooperation in meeting the NRM expectations of achieving overwhelming support.
