Kitagwenda town council chairperson lifts sports high
Kicwamba ward emerged winner of Mayor’s cup 2024 edition Kitagwenda town council organized by the Mayor Patrick Turyamureeba Payi.
In the final game played at Ntara Christian playground, Kicwamba ward defeated Kyotamushana ward 2-1. It was awarded a cow and medals.
Speaking as the guest of honor for this tournament, the National deputy coordinator of PDM Hon. Jovrine Kaliisa Kyomukama hailed Mayor Patrick Turyamureeba Payi for organizing such an event.
The chief organizer Patrick Turyamureeba Payi the LC3 chairperson Kitagwenda town council said the tournament was meant to unite people of Kitagwenda district and identifying youths talents.
The Kitagwenda district woman Member of Parliament Hon Dorothy Nyakato Nzibonera commended Patrick for his initiative and pledged to organize for the entire district to identify more talents.
Robert Mugabe, former LCV chairperson for Kitagwenda district who declared his intentions to stand on the parliamentary seat hailed Patrick Turyamureeba Payi for transforming Kitagwenda town council to another level.
