Kicuzi residents want a police post Reinstalled over insecurity.

Residents of Irimya parish in Kicuzi Sub County Ibanda district want a police post to be put in their area following increased insecurity.

The aggrieved residents voiced their concerns today during a security meeting convened led by the office of the RDC that took place at Irimya Parish headquarters.

The most affected villages include Rwenzigye cell, Karuhisi cell, Kitooma, Lyakazo, Karo karungyi among others.

Residents led by Mariri Muhereza the Chairperson LC1 Rwenzigye cell said before a police post was withdrawn there were less crimes unlike today.

Happy Herbert Mayanja the LCV chairperson asked residents to remain calm as the government prepares to re-allocate the police post back.

Addressing the residents, the RDC Godfrey Mbetegyereize said he will work with other security agencies to reinstall a police post in the area.
