Kazo District stakeholders meet to plan for the campaign rally of president Museveni

Kazo district stakeholders have convened a meeting today aimed at planning for the presidential campaign rally of NRM party flag bearer Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on November 28, 2025.

Kazo District NRM leaders and stakeholders have held several meetings to discuss strategies and preparations for the upcoming 2026 general elections, which includes rallying support for President Museveni, the NRM’s presidential flag bearer.

This meeting which was held at KAN house in Kazo town council organised by NRM district executive committee was attended by NRM team, religious leaders, school head teachers, technical staff and others.

During the meeting, Wilson nkaija the Kazo district NRM chairperson delivered a message emphasizing the importance of organizing a successful campaign rally.

Molly Nawe Kamukama, the NRM party flag bearer for Kazo district woman Member of Parliament, urged people to mobilize resources for the President’s rally.

Kantu Baruma Boss, an independent candidate contesting to represent Kazo County also called upon residents to be part of the campaign rally.

Meanwhile; the deputy RDC Paddy Mugisha Bazil urged all citizens to mobilize fully to ensure that Kazo district achieves 100% voter turnout for president Museveni.

Key details include:

·         Focus on Unity: Leaders emphasized the importance of unity among NRM flag bearers and members to ensure a strong showing in the elections and foster local development.

·         Grassroots Mobilization: The meetings focused on grassroots mobilization and the need for all flag bearers to work together for the betterment of the district and the party.

·         President’s Engagement: President Museveni has engaged with various NRM groups and flag bearers across the country as part of his campaign trail for the 2026-2031 term.

·         General Strategy: The overall strategy for the NRM campaign involves integrating more citizens into the money economy and focusing on wealth creation at the household level.
