ISSIA SACCO GIVES EID AL-FITR PACKAGES TO MUSLIM COMMUNITY

As one way of giving back to the community, ISSIA Sacco limited has today given Eid Al Fitr packages their Muslim clients to enable them to celebrate the upcoming Eid al Fitr upon completing the 30-day fast.

Worldwide, Muslims annually recognize Ramadan as a month of fasting, communal prayer, reflection and community for the twenty-nine to thirty days that the holy period lasts.

In observance of the Ramadan season, ISSIA Sacco decided to give a token of assorted food items to ten clients that they can use as they celebrate the upcoming Eid al Fitr.

The initiative is part of Sacco’s corporate social agenda to support its communities.

ISSIA Sacco branch Manager Ibanda, Annah Aineamaani lauded Muslims for saving with the Sacco and urged them to invite more clients.

 “Fasting is not only a sacrifice, but it showcases one’s commitment to strengthen their spiritual journey, and we commend all those who have observed this during the holy month. As a Sacco, we care for people in communities where we operate, and for our Muslim community, we wanted to celebrate with them and give assorted food items so that they can enjoy and share the joy of Eid with their families.”

The ISSIA Sacco head of business development Baker Kamugasha said that Eid Al-Fitr packages have been given to all Sacco branches, hailing them for choosing ISSIA as number one banking institution.

Representing the General Manager, Penelope Kyohirwe hailed Muslims for banking with ISSIA towards development.

Meanwhile; some of the beneficiaries Ayubu Kigundu and Anat Ahimbisibwe hailed ISSIA Sacco for honoring their religion adding that this is a timely donation, and the families will use food items to celebrate Eid Al Fitr.
