IBANDA DISTRICT LEADERS CALL FOR VIGILANCE AHEAD OF FESTIVE SEASON.
Residents of Kijongo sub county, Ibanda district have been urged to remain vigilant ahead of the festive season.
The warning follows the surging cases of theft of livestock and house break-ins coupled in the area.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with our reporter, Bernard Byamugisha the LC3 chairperson Kijongo Sub County noted that there are several people in the area who don’t want to work but target to steal people’s live stock and properties.
He asked people to unite together in protecting their properties during the festive days.
He further tasked LC1 Chairpersons to always report insecurity cases to the concerned instead of shielding criminals.
