Kitagwenda town council Mayor launches the construction of Kichwamba archdeaconry church.

Kichwamba Archdeaconry under the East Ruwenzori Diocese on Sunday officially launched a drive to construct the Archdeaconry structures at Kichwamba grounds.

During the launch at Kichwamba Archdeaconry ground, a total of 30.7 million shillings was solicited.

Ven. Rev. Frank Nkamwebonera, the church Archdeacon, called upon Christians to remain focused, drawing inspiration from the Bishop’s vision that initiated the plan to construct the Archdeaconry.

Speaking as the Chief Guest, Patrick Turyamureba Payi, who is also the Chairperson LC III Kitagwenda Town Council and a member of Synod, emphasized that a strong community begins with a strong church foundation.

Kitagwenda district Member of Parliament elect, Robert Mugabe expressed gratitude for being part of the event and he commended Venerable Reverend Frank Nkamwebonera for his dedication to driving development within the area.
