Lands minister Dr Sam Mayanja orders security in Ibanda to arrest Vicent Mbabazi

The state minister for lands hon.Dr.Sam Mayanja has ordered a family in Bisheshe division, Ibanda municipality to own back the land that had been claimed by Vincent Mbabazi.

In 2018 Vincent claimed over 20 acres of land that were occupied by the family of Michelle Besisibwa in Kyembogo village, Karangara ward, Bisheshe division, Ibanda municipality.

Mbabazi took the matter to court which ordered police force the family of Michelle out of land.

During a meeting held in Kyembogo, Hon.Dr.Mayanja noted that investigations revealed that Mbabazi used a fake land title to claim the land, and connived with the state attorney to grab the land from Michelle Besisibwa.

He ordered the security team led by the RDC to arrest Vincent Mbabazi and state attorneys.

Johnson Kanyomozi the LC111 Chairperson Bisheshe said he tried to reconcile the families but was overpowered by Vincent.
