37 YEAR OLD MAN ARRESTED IN KAZO FOR MURDER

37 year old man arrested in Kazo for murder

Police in Kazo has arrested a 37 year old man for allegedly beating his colleague Begumanya to death in a bar fight yesterday.

The suspect has been identified as Ezra Ngyezi village, Kataraza Parish, Nkungu Sub County, Kazo District.
It is alleged that Ezra, punched death Benjamin Manigamukama after developing misunderstanding with him in a bar over alcohol.

Local leaders, led by the Lady Councilor Kataraza parish Peninah Mbabazi, have attributed the act idleness and disorderly and excessive alcoholism.

Residents told our reporter that the suspect has been violent in the areas due to influence of drugs and alcohol.

The suspect by press time was at Nkungu police post custody as police took the body to conduct autopsy.

Police is yet to give a comment over the matter.
