Over 100 million shillings raised towards Mapeera Silver complex construction at Bubaare catholic parish

Over Shillings 100 million was on Sunday collected during the ground-breaking for the construction of the Mapeera Silver Complex at St. Charles Lwanga Bubaare Catholic Parish.
During the function, the Vicar General for the Mbarara Archdiocese, Rev. Fr. Dr Severinus Ndugwa, who represented Archbishop Lambert Bainomugisha, urged Christians to remain steadfast in their faith and trust in God, believing that with Him all things are possible.
The chief guest, former Minister for Works and Transport and former Ibanda South Member of Parliament, Engineer John Byabagambi, commended Christians for their commitment to the project and urged them to actively support church development projects.
He pledged his continued support towards the development of the parish after contributing Shillings 32 million towards the construction.
Deusdedit Murinde, the Mayor of Ibanda Municipality noted that once completed, the Mapeera Silver Complex will create opportunities for people of Ibanda. He pledged his support towards the development of the parish after contributing Shillings 10 million.
